Our consulting heritage spans many years of working with FTSE 100 clients helping them achieve their strategic goals. Our professional services range from technical engineering through service implementation to service support.

Our solutions portfolio is geared towards areas of telecommunications that our clients tell us are of specifically high value to them. SCS are a unique organisation in many respects. We are totally focussed on business value and are constantly probing for more efficient mechanisms for delivering value to our clients.

We challenge the ‘accepted norms’ in our industry and constantly surprise our clients with innovative approaches to using telecommunications technologies and services to mine business value. We believe it is our depth of technical knowledge combined with our understanding of the challenges faced by our clients that help us drive out the optimum mechanisms for delivering identified value.

We work with our clients during the entire lifecycle from strategy, design, implementation to support. Uniquely, we have significant experience of both the customer and supplier sides of the Telecommunications industry. SCS’s consultants have considerable experience operating at the forefront of both the design and deployment of business-focused next generation solutions, which have either replaced or complemented more traditional services.

We have led consultancy engagements for key programmes that have successfully delivered benefits based on total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) business cases. SCS has delivered such work in a number of vertical sectors including retail, utility, retail banking, insurance and life and pensions. Through our consultancy work with end clients we have identified what we believe to be the most highly valued elements of telecommunications solutions and have built our own portfolio of solutions to fill the requirement of our clients.

Many of our solutions can be delivered through an enterprise model or through the SCS Cloud platform with the associated service delivery and commercial benefits that Cloud computing brings to the end user. Our approach ensures that our clients extract the full value from ICT services that are either already deployed, in transition or still to be decided, based on the marketplace’s ability to execute.

Company Biography

SCS Ltd was formed in early 2005 with the single aim of helping end clients to significantly improve the value they derive from their telecommunications systems and services. The founding Directors are career professionals in Telecommunications and bring a unique blend of knowledge and experience in end user business demand, technical / service architecting and commercial construction.

The Directors have experience of creating and managing contracts in the £1m - 500m range and have all held senior posts in national and global service providers before starting up SCS.
